So this is my journal of my car. In the SPring of 2006 my Camaro was not running so well. After buying a carburetor and 2 of the wrong intake manifold and having to source "special" Edelbrock gaskets, I said **** IT!!" and went to the dealership. I came home with a new 2006 WRX and a great interest rate
Well I soon found out how addictive modding can be!! Some wheels, stage 2 with an AP, then a VF-39 and a tune, tint, body parts....well if you are viewing this then I am sure you know what it is like!! So 3 years later I am preparing to put in a lightly built block and a custon v-band GT30r kit This thread has not been kept up to date, but I will attempt to track my progress. My plan for the future is to take a lot more pics...it is free afterall...and get a better feel for modification results. As much as it pains me to admit it, I made many of there modifications before I knew the car well enough to notice minute changes. As for post #2, luckily the only maniac who has damaged the car (so far!) has been myself haha. A little mistake involving ice and summer tires at about 10 mph took out the front bumper, although zip ties and black duct tape have helped put that off long enough to decide which bumper I want to replace it with. Pics will be included!! Other than that she suffered a little incident in the first month involving a tight corner, RE92s, a light mist, too much speed and a little overconfidence. No damage, other than a scraped up bumper. Imagine my surprise to learn that the bumper snaps back on!!! Now that I have learned about good tires, front/AWD , and vacuum braking(!!) it is smooth sailing. First the old VF-39 comparison charts. One is with and one is without TGV deletes. ![]() And here is the GT30r setup. Ran out of injector at about 6000 RPMs
